Albuquerque Wedding Photographer for Natural, Real Moments
I am a wedding photographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, serving Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico with a natural, documentary approach.
Weddings in Albuquerque and Santa Fe often involve a mix of natural light, historic venues, outdoor ceremonies, and flexible timelines. A documentary approach works especially well in New Mexico because it adapts naturally to changing light, locations, and the pace of the day without interrupting real moments.

Wedding Photography That Feels Real, Not Staged
Documentary wedding photography focuses on real interactions rather than constant posing. This approach allows couples to experience their wedding day naturally, while still having meaningful moments, emotion, and atmosphere thoughtfully documented.
Every wedding has its own rhythm, energy, and story. Rather than showcasing styled shoots or staged moments, my work reflects real weddings and genuine connections — photographed as they naturally unfold.
Real Weddings. Real Couples.
Experience That Makes Your Day Easier
Experience matters on a wedding day. Photographing weddings throughout New Mexico since 2006 has given me the ability to anticipate moments, adapt to changing timelines, and guide couples calmly without interrupting the flow of the day.
Kind Words From Real Couples
Couples often mention a calm presence, natural images, and feeling supported throughout the wedding day.

I place more effort than any photographer I know. I am never still, I am never in the same place for more than fifteen seconds, I interact with people, I manage groups better than anyone and your experience with me will definitely be excellent and worth every penny.

Absolutely not - however, they are welcomed to shoot alongside myself and provide you with some shots that will add to the perfect images I deliver. In wedding photography, proven experience is what you are looking for -

As far or as close as you feel you should. Usually I book one year out, but sometimes I am available for a wedding happening in a week. Being that your photographer is literally the most important vendor - locking it in as soon as you are able, doesn’t hurt.
-
I will only say this: There are some very questionable photographers that charge exorbitant amounts of money, extra fees, have loop hopes and conditions - do your homework. A DJ may play the wrong song - no big deal. But a photographer has zero error latitude.
-
Have you studied photography? Do you practice basic photography concepts? Or is your fancy new digital, mirrorless, supercharged camera doing all of the work? Chances are, it is the later.
